I’m here to turn the likeness of your four-legged friend into a timeless illustration looking like taken out of the book about them. Either as a gift or just for you, I paint each commission with gouache and follow the same process as I would when painting an illustration for a book project.
The aim is not simply to reproduce a photograph of your pet, but to interpret them as a character within their own magical world. You can commission a straightforward character portrait, a small vignette, or a fully realised storybook scene in which your pet becomes the protagonist.

I paint all custom commissions with traditional media (pastel, gouache, watercolor) on high quality paper.
You are involved on each step of the painting’s creation.
The original painting is sent to you once completed. A shipping fee will be added to the final price, calculated based on your location.

This option is designed for a single pet or character and focuses entirely on their appearance, expression and personality.
The painting features one full-body figure, composed on the page without a surrounding background. The simplicity of the composition allows the character itself to take centre stage, with attention given to their particular markings, features, posture and expression.
This is a good choice if you are looking for a charming, timeless portrait of your pet rather than a complete scene.
This tier introduces either a second character or a small amount of environmental storytelling.
You can choose between two full-body characters within the composition, or one character accompanied by a vignette-style background.
A vignette can suggest a place, activity or atmosphere without becoming a fully developed scene. It might include a small portion of a room, garden, landscape, favourite object, or other setting that helps tell something about the character.
This option works well for pets with a companion, two beloved animals, or a portrait where you would like a little glimpse into their world without commissioning a full illustrated scene.

A complete, full-bleed illustration with one main character and a fully developed background scene.
Place your pet in their own world. The setting can be based on a real place, an imagined environment, a favourite activity, or a small piece of their personality and story.
Think of it as commissioning an illustration for a book in which your pet is the protagonist.
The background is an integral part of the painting rather than a decorative addition. Furniture, architecture, plants, landscapes, objects and other details can be used to create a sense of place and atmosphere, while the composition, colour and visual storytelling are developed around the main character.
This option is particularly suited to commissions where you want the painting to feel like a small narrative.
